Peppa’s cream cakes (100 years old recipe)
Cream cakes are made according to an old recipe of my grandmother and her original version of the classic cream cakes.
Directions:
Boil the milk. Mix 4 egg yolks, sugar, vanilla SUGAR and flour in a bowl. Add boiled milk to the mixture and stir on the minimum heat to the guest. In another bowl, gradually add 2 teaspoons sugar (at the beginning) to the whites and mix them, then finally add the rest of the sugar to the mixture. Then add this mixture slowly - spoon by spoon to the first (yolk-milk) mixture.
Bake two sheets of puff pastry in the oven. Give first plate on a baking tray and pour over the inside cream and wait to cool down. Add a mixed cream that you admixed with cream-fix (not necessary). Slot squares from other sheets of puff pastry, and place them on a baking tray on cream.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
