Gluten Free Spring Herb Buns
These buns are packed with fresh herbs. They are gluten free but are so crispy and aromatic!
Instructions:
- In a bowl put the flour, yeast and salt and mix them until they combine.
- Pour in the warmed buttermilk or water.
- Knead softly until everything is combined and soft dough forms. The dough has to be soft.
- When the dough is formed add the olive oil, chopped herb, sesame seeds and oregano. Knead until all is uniformly combined.
- Cover with a cloth to rest for 15 minutes.
- Oil a baking sheet (or 2 bread pans) and divide the dough in 10 buns. Put them on the baking sheet and with a warm damp towel. Keep them somewhere warm for 45 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 180C/350F and bake them for about 50 minutes
- Let them cool on racks. Then serve them
