Revythia soupa (Hot chickpea soup)
A really great soup to eat in the middle of a very cold winter.Especially when you suffer from flu or a light cold,believe me,it will make miracles for you!
•Wash well the soaked chickpeas and place them in a pressure cooker in the woter to boil for 25 minutes.
•Remove and strain the peas,in a normal boiling pot,add the olive oil and saute the carrots,onion and then the chickpeas.
•Pour the broth and let it boil for some 15 minutes more.
•Check salt and pepper and pour the lemon juice and let it stand for 5 minutes.
Legumes are high in protein so do not neglect them.

•250 gr chickpeas(soaked in water 12 hours ago,or last night) •1 red onion(minced) •2 garlic cloves(in slices) •3 carrots(in slices) •1,3 lt water •500 gr chicken broth •salt and freshly ground pepper to taste •100 ml olive oil •2 lemons(the juice,filtered from fibre and cores)
This is a wonderful recipe but i chose to. use vegi stock instead
