Ginataang Alimango with Misua ( Crab Cooked in Coconut Milk with Misua)
Ginataang Alimango, are Crabs cooked in Coconut Milk. This ginataang alimango recipe features the use of misua. Cooking seafood in coconut milk is common in Philippine dishes. The savor of the crab or any seafood in scrupulous is absorbed by the coconut milk, which is perfect when served with rice.
Cooking Procedure
1. In a large pot, sauté the garlic, onion, and ginger
2. Add the ground black pepper and coconut milk then let it boil
3. Add the shrimp paste and cook until the coconut milk’s consistency is thick and natural oil comes out of it (approximately 20 minutes or more)
4. Put the crabs in the pot and mix until equally covered with coconut milk. Cook for 5 to 20 minutes.
5. Add the misua and simmer for 5 minutes
