Dum Aloo

Make Dum Aloo Recipe  at Home.

Step 1: Heat oil in a pan to fry potatoes .Prick potatoes with help of a fork and drop them in to the oil to deep fry. Fry till the golden from all sides and drain on an absorbent paper. Keep them aside

Step 2: Heat ghee in another pan, add cumin seeds, cloves and black pepper. Cook over a medium heat then add onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes till the onion turns golden. Now add ginger – garlic paste. Sauté again

Step 3: Add tomato paste and yogurt. Mix little water to make gravy. Keep stirring over a medium flame then add kashmiri mirch, turmeric powder, coriander Powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well

Step 4: Combined fried potatoes in the gravy. Keep cooking till the potatoes absorb the gravy. Turn off the heat

Step 5: Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve Hot

• 8-10 Baby Potatoes , Boiled and Peeled • 2 medium Sized Onion ,Chopped • 1 cup Tomato Paste • 1-2 tbsp Ghee • ½ cup Yogurt • 1 tsp Kashmiri Mirch • 1 tsp Garlic Paste • 1 tsp Ginger Paste • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder • 2 tsp Coriander Powder • ½ tsp Garam Masala • ½ tsp Cumin Seeds • 2-3 Cloves • 2-3 Black Pepper Corn • Water as required • Few Coriander Leaves ,Chopped • Oil for fry • Salt to taste
