Traditional Philippines Leche Flan Recipe
Leche Flan is a popular, traditional and all time favorite dessert recipe in Philippines. This dessert recipe is made-up of eggs and milk with a soft caramel on top. This is an easy, tasty,creamy recipe and is mostly loved by all.
Directions: 1. In a medium saucepan, place 3 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons water. Stir over low heat until sugar gets melted. Remove from heat and allow caramel to cool and harden. 2. In a medium bowl, combine egg yolks, evaporated milk and condensed milk. Beat them using a fork or an egg beater. With cheesecloth, strain egg-milk mixture. Pour strained mixture into prepared mold (llaneras). 3. Bake for 45 minutes. Insert with a knife to make sure it comes out clean. Remove from oven, allow cooling and refrigerate to set. To serve, turn flan over on a serving plate, ending with caramel on top
