Homemade Veggie Burger

Directions: • For making veggie burger firstly you have to prepare patties which are to be stuffed, for it. To prepare patties, combine 1 cup onion and other ingredients in a food processor, and process until smooth, scraping sides of bowl occasionally. Place bean mixture in a large bowl; stir in 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. Divide bean mixture into 4 equal portions, shaping each into a 1/2-inch-thick patty. • Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add patties to pan; reduce heat to medium, and cook 4 minutes or until bottom edges are browned. Repeat the same process for other patties. • Now cut each burger bun horizontally into two. Apply ½ tsp of butter on the insides of each half of the burger bun and toast them lightly on a tava (griddle). Keep aside. • Apply cheese spread on each buttered side of the bun half. • Place the lower half of a bun on a clean, dry surface with the buttered–spread side facing up. • Place 1 lettuce leaf, a cutlet and a cheese slice over it. • Spread 1 portion of the salad on it and cover with an upper half of the bun with the buttered–spread side facing down and press it lightly. Serve it immediately with sauce.
